Delete your GoPathik account

You can delete your GoPathik account and the personal data attached to it. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need to have the app installed to use the second one.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Open GoPathik and go to Profile.
Tap Settings, then Account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Deletion is scheduled immediately on confirmation.

Option 2 — Request deletion from this page

Send the form below, or email privacy@gopathik.com from your registered email address with the subject Delete my account. We will verify it is you by OTP before acting, and confirm by email when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your profile: name, photo, mobile number, email, password
Your saved addresses and routes
Your identity verification documents and selfie, and your blue tick status
Your trip history and the handover photographs you uploaded
Your chat messages and support tickets
Your ratings, reviews and device identifiers

What we must keep, and for how long

A small set of records is retained because Indian law requires it or because it protects other users from fraud. These are held separately, are not used to contact you, and are not linked to an active profile.

Timeline

Immediately — your account is deactivated and your profile stops appearing to other users.
Within 30 days — personal data is deleted from active systems.
Within 90 days — data is purged from encrypted backups as they rotate.

Before you delete. Withdraw any remaining Wallet balance first — we cannot pay it out once the account is gone. Complete or cancel any Trip in progress; deletion does not cancel an obligation you already have to another user. Deletion is permanent, and trip history, ratings and verification cannot be restored. You may register again later, but you will start from zero and verify again.
